(Naveed Hussain Yasini) Pakistan Army has been accomplishing various plans in the development of District Ghizer in general and Yasin Valley in particular for the last couple of years in reward of the bravery of Lalak Jan Shaheed (NH) and other martyrs. Few years ago, a dispensary namely Lalak Jan Shaheed Dispensary came into being and now the people of Hundur and adjoining villages are benefiting from it. This has enabled the people to breathe a sigh of relief in health matters on minor level. On realizing the importance of quality education in the area Pakistan Army established “Army Public School (Lalak Jan Shaheed) last year in Hundur Yasin. After completion of one year of the educational journey, recently ‘Parents day’ took place in the said school. Center Commandant NLI Center Bunji Brigadier Shahid Riaz attended the very ceremony as chief guest. In his address to the gathering he admired and appreciated the devotions and services of Lalak Jan Shaheed, martyrs and other soldiers in the defense of the land. He also promised to bring all possible measures to enlarge health and educational facilities in the area. On this occasion he assured the people to upgrade APS to Cadet College very soon. He said that land of 25 kanals had been secured and Army would work on the construction of college . Dear Navid,
APS, what u discribe as a milestone, though is a mega project. But like Lalak Jan Shaheed High School and Lalak Jan Shaheed dispensary, it was started by occupying a ADP funded school overnight, by army. The question is not of being a nationalist or an state agent. Always believe in truth that is above all.

    Dear Navid,
Sorry for replying so late. Ok, u r right as far as APS is concenrned, but still there is misinformation in your news item thats about Dispensary. You may confirm from anywhere you want that Lalak Jan Shaheed Dispensary was constructed by annual development fund not by special grant.

    Sir ,

Being a resident of Yasin and a nationalist you should be aware of the fact that an APS is being run in Hundur as well. Here you are talking about the Lalak Jan High School but for your kind information I have described APS HUndur not High School Hundur.. First please go through the news thoroughly and comment. Your comment will be appreciated highly. Regards, Naveed

    Sir Rahat,

Thanks a lot for criticizing. For your kind information I haven’t mentioned the construction of the building of APS that came into being last year rather here am concerned with running of school under Army. Do you deny the fact as well that school is being run by army nowadays in Hundur…? I am not describing the location of the school or its building here. Yeah am appreciating the endeavor here because being a student I appreciate all those organizations or all the people who take initiatives for the upliftment of education in our area. Whether its an army group or any other nationalist group, am not concerned with it. Hope you get it.

    Regards, Naveed

  • Misinformation included in this story. Being a resident of Yasin, you should be aware that Lalak Jan School was constructed in aroung 1985 with the name ”Government middle school, Hundur” and class started the following years. It was 1999 when Kargil tragedy took place and the same year the signboard of school was replace with new one having a name ”Lalak Jan Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider” without any upgradation and adition of single room. This is a worse example of making people fool, and you encourage them? very disapoiting

Dear Quat Khan you have done a great job.

  • TAQDIR ALI KHAN ADVOCATE says:

Pak Army is keen to developn Northern Areas, now Gilgit Baltistan, but the Civil Government is reluctant………………?

  • Badar Muneer Khan Baigal says:

Definitely its nice to hear such new as we all know that Yasin Valley is lagging behind in education and our literacy rate is quite low. Although there can be administrative issues but I think, this decision can be milestone for future generations. It will soon become famous because of its locality in such a beautiful area covered with mountains and natural beauty.
